No, the Smart Coop App is currently available for iOS, MacOS, and iPadOS only.
How do the cameras work, and can I view them remotely?
Both the Roost and Run Cams and the Automatic Door are battery-operated:
📹 Roost & Run Cams – Powered by a rechargeable battery, which typically needs to be recharged about once a month. For a low-maintenance setup, consider adding a solar panel to keep your CoopCams powered effortlessly! 🌞🐔
🚪 Automatic Door – Runs on two standard AA batteries, which last 4–6 months depending on use and weather conditions. We recommend checking them seasonally, especially during extreme temperatures.
How much space do my chickens need inside the coop?
The Smart Coop comfortably houses 6+ chickens which will lay around 1500 eggs per year! The fully assembled Smart Coop with the attached run and base provides 28 square feet of total floor space, 2 nesting areas, and 60 inches of roosting space.
Is the coop suitable for all types of chickens and climates?
